3 ways to : summer table settings
A summer favourite of ours, and one which we start to devise months in advanced, is summer entertaining, and this is not compromised when it comes to our table settings. Unable to hold back, we’ve teamed up with our friends at Nautilus Estate to arrange 3 beautiful (and different) table settings that you can easily recreate for your next summer soirée.
1. Tickled Pink
Soft blush tones, paired with war, earthy colours give a pretty in pink vibe without it being imprudent. If you’re going with bolder colours, be sure to slot in some neutrals to balance the look out. Tie it all together with a dried posy and fresh herbs or foliage.
This look would also look great on our Ecru Linen Table Cloth.
2. Soft Meadow
Set the tone for your table with a coloured tablecloth and some rustic candles or holders. Give it a pop of colour with a bolder napkin or glassware, paired with neutral crockery. Add the finishing touch with a sprig of toetoe or some dried flowers that match your colour scheme (these can be dried up to a week in advance).
3. Show Your Stripes
Placemats are a good way to frame your setting and add in a bit of colour (if you’re more monochrome focused). A darker or duller colour will work nicely if steering clear of all colour is your go-to. Play around with plate styles and sizes if you’re opting for whites or creams, then work in some striped napkins to give a playful touch and bring your setting to life.
If you’re looking to add a tablecloth to this look we’d recommend our Ecru or Olive Linen Table Cloths.
