How to : throw a throw
A throw or bedspread adds the finishing touch to the bed, and is a practical layer as the mornings get chillier. Visually, they break up the expanse of a duvet cover, and help to tie a look together. Rather than spending your mornings neatly squaring up your throw or bedspread, take a tip from our Stylist Sam and achieve a more relaxed look, which breaks up all those square corners.
Grab one corner of your throw/bedspread, and toss the opposite diagonal corner across the bed to create a loose triangular fold. Give the corner a shake to create ruffles in the fabric (no neat corners here!) and drag the throw off slightly to one side, so it's off-center. Here's Sam to demonstrate how:
